Brian Damude has pursued a career as a filmmaker, screenwriter, media educator and, more recently, a photographer with a focus on abstract landscapes. In 1995 he was appointed Chair of the School of Image Arts (Film-Photography-New Media) at Ryerson University, a position he held for 10 years. During his recent sabbatical in 2005/06 he traveled in Europe and South America to photograph and develop several new photo-based expositions. Brian is presently working full-time as a professor of film studies and media production at Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
