My name is Edmond, and I'm from a little town north of downtown Toronto, called Markham. For highschool, I went to Bur Oak Secondary School. In Markham, many different cultural groups reside there, allowing me to explore and fulfill my curiousity of meeting new people and ideas.
I feel very insecure about the artist in me, particularly because I have not been exposed to traditional art. What I am comfortable with is social media, because I have grown up with it as part of my life. I wish to expand my knowledge of art vastly and apply it to the realm of New Media.
It was in high school where I discovered more about myself and had an idea about what I wanted to do in life. I could never imagine sitting in a cubicle and doing the same old repetitive things all day; I want to do something engaging, dynamic, but most importantly, fun! That is the reason why I chose New Media.
I go to Ryerson University for New Media. As a expected graduate of 2015, I plan to showcase pieces of my work on this site. So far, the courses that I have been taking are MPM16 - Intro to Design , MPM17 - Research for Design, FRS101 - Sign, Sense, and Meaning, Art History, and Concepts and Theories
