I have been with the clinic for 2 years as a certified psychotherapist, and am launching my career into sex therapy, in tandem with a music project as a niche to attract attention and to ride the wave of the increasing media hype. This is a great opportunity for a computer savvy Audio tech/engineer to get media contacts early and rapidly, and grow with the project as it gains momentum, with the possibility of a longer-term involvement in future projects and recordings.

Stage 1: Arranging & Recording Song

Stage 2: Filming video & Press Promo

Required: Preparation of a press kit, which would involve filming a simple music video for the song, as well as an introductory video of myself to the public about my services, launching my services for Sex Therapy, catching attention with music, humour, and the science of sex, (long term vision: using music in tandem with sex therapy under the umbrella of life coaching).

Stage 3:  Promoting/Marketing through Internet & Media Contacts

Required: Someone that is internet savvy, that can set up social media contacts, as well as industry contacts for the song launch, and promote internet presence.

I have been involved in a project with City TV that will be airing a short clip of me in March 2012. The timeline is around March, or shortly after if possible, to maximize this opportunity. I am offering a stipend of $200, and credit for the work to be negotiated as producer of other mention etc., as a motivation and acknowledgement of the contribution to the project, and promotions.

Opportunity – Exciting internship opportunity with global luxury brand’s marketing and social media team Background — Four Seasons’ global headquarters is in Toronto – the company was founded in Toronto by Ryerson alumnus Isadore Sharp in 1961. The company now has 86 luxury 5-star hotels in 35 countries around the world, from Paris to Istanbul to Los Angeles, with 50 hotels in development – and the brand-new global flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently under construction.  This spectacular new hotel will open at the corner of Bay and Yorkville Avenue in July 2012.

Four Seasons is very active in digital marketing – we have a YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter pages, and just launched a new, highly interactive website: www.fourseasons.com/toronto-new.

Ryerson and Four Seasons are such a wonderful part about the fabric of Toronto, and many of our current and past employees are in fact Ryerson alumni – and we believe this is a great opportunity to work with Ryerson and promote the terrific work of students at the School of Image Arts.

The project:

- Ryerson students will work with Four Seasons as part of a class or internship class FPN547 to create a series of 30-90 second videos about the launching of the new hotel.  We’d love for these to feel very cool, fun – incorporating video footage, photos, and music.  Much like the Vimeo Meta Exhibition 2011 video posted on your website – this is fantastic work!

Nothing like this has been done in our company before – and these videos would receive international online exposure.

- Brainstorm with the marketing team to develop story boards, and produce a series of videos (that will launch on YouTube in March 2012) about the new hotel – currently under construction, to the Grand Opening in July 2012.

The possibilities for creativity are endless – ideas include students filming “behind the scenes” clips at the construction site, touring the $28 million Penthouse suite, speaking with architects, interior designers, restaurant chefs, bartenders, etc.

- The projects could be completed as part of an internship class, FPN547

This project is terrific for a student’s resume and Portfolio – and also these videos will be heavily promoted by our Corporate office and online all over the world!  Students will gain excellent professional experience as well as many at career contacts at Four Seasons and with our various partners and clients.
