Hi everyone!

My name is Rebecca Rykiss and I am in my 4th year of Fashion Communication. I am currently working on a fashion editorial with two other students for the Flare Magazine competition. If our submission wins, it will be featured in an upcoming issue of Flare! The shoot is this coming Monday – March 5th from 10:00am until approximately 3:00pm. We are looking for a photographer for the shoot with access to lighting. We cannot pay you, however, lunch and transportation will be provided, and of course you can use the images in your portfolio! AND, if we win, your work will be featured in Flare! We currently have our professional hair and makeup team ready to go so we just need a photographer!

Please let me know as soon as possible if you would be interested or for more information, as the shoot is just around the corner! Thanks so much.

An interior design, fine art and photography company is seeking a fresh, creative web designer to help build a site for the business. The main design elements are already completed but we need your help to execute the ideas. This partnership could grow into more creative opportunities and will also offer great exposure for the right person.

What we need:
- a website that can be easily maintained by the business owner
- a designer who is creative and will work with us to develop a site that makes an impact
- someone who appreciates the arts and stays at the forefront of their field
- SEO, e-mail, photo thumbnail grids

Compensation will be provided.

If interested please send your portfolio and resume to jolieadele@live.com

I am a student in the Chang School’s Certificate for Fashion Styling and Coordination Program. I am currently enrolled in the Fashion Styling course CDFC 102, for which the final term project is creating and executing a 6 page fashion shoot (i.e. a “creative” fashion editorial). The portfolio will be judged and graded by the directors of the major artist agencies in Toronto. All participants in the portfolio, i.e. the model, photographer, and the hair/makeup artist, will be given credit.

This is a great opportunity for any senior undergraduate, graduate students, or recent graduates, who are interested in specializing in fashion photography, building their portfolio, and getting their name in front of the agencies, as well as gaining experience from working with a professional fashion model and hair & makeup artists. This is also a great opportunity to make contacts within the fashion industry.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer compensation, but I will offer a small honorarium to cover transportation costs and food.

I am aiming to schedule the shoot sometime in and around March 16 to 20. You can expect to be on set for about half a day.

Basic requirements:

- senior undergraduate (3rd or 4th year), graduate student, or recent graduate of the School of Image Arts

- must have access to own equipement, including own a DSLR camera, and shoot professionally in high res colour and B & W.

- experience with Photoshop (for editing if necessary).

Please contact me at stylishchemist@gmail.com if you are interested and want to know more details about my vision for the fashion story. You can check out my blog below for my recent styling assignment. When contacting me, please include some details about yourself, and some samples of your work.
