Screenings: With 25 participating artists, DOC NOW 2012 kicks off with screenings at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, 350 King Street West, Toronto. All screenings are 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Exhibitions are on view from May 2 – June 29 at 80 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, in the following locations:

From July 1st to August 31 I•M•A Gallery will be accepting proposals for short term rental. The gallery is located in the Toronto Gallery District on the third floor of 80 Spadina Avenue, a building well known for its galleries, located just down the street from the Toronto arts mecca 401 Richmond.

one week: $800
two weeks: $1300
three weeks: $1800
one month: $2000

Company: First Generation Films is small but very busy film production company. We have produced feature films such as “The Whistleblower”, “Amreeka” and most recently co-produced “Red Lights” with the producers of “Buried”. Currently, we are in post production on the feature film “The Lesser Blessed” directed by Anita Doran. Along with a slate of feature films we are expanding into television, developing both dramatic and factual television.

 

Time Commitment: 3 – 4 months. Starting with 2-3 days a week with the possibility of coming in full time for just late June/July.

 

Job Description: You will be supporting business affairs and maintaining the general tasks of the office and some script reading etc.

Verge Magazine, in collaboration with the Go Global Expo, has launched the 2012 Travel With Purpose Photo of the Year Competition.

 

Enter to win the Grand Prize of $1,000. Selected short-listed images will be displayed at the 2011 Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver Go Global Expos, and will be published in Verge Magazine’s Photo Annual edition.
