Terre Di Cinema is back in 2022 for its 11th edition!

Driven by a hands on approach, Terre Di Cinema CineCampus is an intensive 11-day program where participants are given the opportunity to learn and experience the craft of making short films on 35mm film stock, provided by KODAK MOTION PICTURE FILM, our main technical partner. The program is open to film students and young professionals from around the world.

When: 10th-24th September 2021

Where: Catania, Sicily, Italy

Deadline: 31st May 2021

Theme for short film: Open. You bring the idea.

Who can apply: The CineCampus is open to 12 directors and 24 camera persons with no age limit. Working knowledge of the English language is a necessity.

Since 2011, the CineCampus is part of the curriculum at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Scuola Nazionale di Cinema, Italy. We are also proud to announce the support from AIC, Italian Society of Cinematographers and BVK, the German Society of Cinematographers with Johannes Kirchenerler joining for a second year as a mentor.

The CineCampus participants from 45 countries have realised over 80 short films, achieving successes such as TDC2018 short film Gas Station receiving an award at the 2020 Venice International Film Festival. You can find some highlights from previous editions here.

The aim of the program is to expose the participants to the discipline of shooting on film and imparting knowledge through experience by driving participants in a goal-oriented manner to realise their ideas from script to shoot on film stock, a unique prospect in this digital world.

The registration for the 2022 CineCampus at Terre Di Cinema is open.
