GMR Marketing – Event Photographer

Founded in 1979, GMR Marketing is a global full-service marketing agency that specializes in Sports, Interactive and Mobile Marketing. Still fresh on the scene within the Canadian industry, we are known for our strategic thinking, innovative solutions, and creative executions. We are currently searching for event photographers for activations in our Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal areas.

The Role
Reporting to the Program Field Manager, the event photographer will utilize the technical expertise, creativity, and the appropriate professional equipment to capture quality photographs.

Duties/Responsibilities
Represent GMR in a professional manner
Take photos of consumers before a media mall and within a large event tent
Capture video footage of consumer activity within the event tent
Image management and uploading
Photographer must use own DSLR and flash equipment

Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Energetic, engaging personality
Fluent English-speaking skills
1 year previous photography experience, preferably with event photography

1 ) Aug. 4-5 – City Park, Kelowna
2 ) Aug. 11-12 – Whistler
3 ) Aug. 25-26 – Logger Sports Grounds and Hendrickson Fields, Squamish
4 ) Sept. 22-23 – Chinese Cultural Centre, Vancouver

ONTARIO
5 ) Aug. 4-5 – Downsview Park, Toronto
6 ) Aug. 11-12 – Millennium Park, Collingwood Harbour, Collingwood

QUEBEC
7 ) Aug. 18-19 – Place Émilie-Gamelin, Montreal
8 ) Sept. 6-7 – Marché Bonsecours, Montreal

Preference will be given to candidates who are available for more than one event. Photographers must find own method of transportation to events. GMR will reimburse mileage for events requiring a travel distance over 50km.

Salary
$45-55 per hour, depending on experience and/or qualifications
