CSA in Creemore, Ontario is a subscription based organic-transitioning farm, while in Carbondale, Colorado, the Purple Co. is participating in the rapidly emerging cannabis industry.
Leveraging experience attained through the creation and operation of a legal medical cannabis facility in Canada, the Purple Co. provides consulting and infrastructure to state-licensed greenhouse and outdoor cultivation operations. The Purple Co.’s Canadian and American properties combine to form a long distance community working towards sustainable and productive agriculture.


JOB TITLE: Digital Content Producer
REPORTS TO: Executive Producer


The Purple Co. is looking for a self-starting, technically adept Digital Content Producer to join our team to produce, shoot and edit a wide range of content for the Purple Co. as well as our clients. Successful applicants will have a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in video production and editing, and will be able to provide links to examples of original successfully completed projects.

• Shoot, edit and generate original short and long form video content for online and social media platforms
• Manage daily maintenance of video content on the Purple Co sites
• Work closely with Executive Producer and the Purple team on finding the correct story with the available footage and archival material
• Work with the Purple team in choosing the appropriate music for pieces
• Ingest footage, organize files and ensure all content is accounted for
• Develop and maintain contacts
• Other duties and/or special projects as assigned

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of digital media production
• University/college degree, preferably in digital media production
• Experience creating news video content for social media platforms
• Excels in planning, organization and coordination
• Detail oriented
• Professional positive attitude
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Ability to deal with quickly changing priorities to meet deadlines
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to properly light and record audio on location or in studio
• Must be comfortable working both with and without Production Manager to create a cohesive story
• Proficiency in Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Pro Tools or equivalent

• Ability to travel within and outside of Canada with an active passport
• Ability to develop and create audio content
• Animation and motion graphics
• Experience producing stop-motion videos
• Podcasting
• Interest in sustainable business practices
