MPM27A/B - Calendar Description
Interaction design builds upon and extends the fundamentals introduced in the first year of
study. Dependent upon Artistic Applications for Interface Design, this course emphasizes
the development of processes and structures that enable artists to shift, control, or
encourage the participation of audiences. In this course, scripting and programming skills
will be developed and integrated with interface design skills. Students will produce a
variety of experiences based on several modes of interactivity. Emphasis is placed on the
production of interactive systems that engage participants through unique and dynamic
experiences.
Corequisite: MPM 28A, Prerequisites: MPM 16B and MPM 17B
