Hey there!
I'm Melissa Palermo, a second year New Media student at Ryerson University. New Media interests me because it is about human interactivity on various different levels. A piece can be inspired by an interaction the artist has had; on the other hand, an interaction a view has with a piece can inspire them. I am also fascinated by how borders don't exist in New Media, we are unafraid to try new things, to think outside of the box.

Technically, I am proficient with the Adobe programs Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, and Dreamweaver. I also have knowledge in HTML, CSS, and Processing.

I am always looking for opportunities to further my technical and design knowledge, and further develop as an artist.
