Kapur is an award winning filmmaker, scholar, illustrator and curator. Her research focuses on interactive media and its implications for the documentary genre in particular. Her other interests include XR, mobile media and artificial intelligence. As a Fulbright Fellow and Indo-Canadian Shastri Institute Fellow Anandana has collaborated with artists and developers in Toronto and Boston to create films and interactive experiences.
