I am looking for a talented film student who is looking to get experience within the horror genre.
My mini-script translates to approximately 8 minutes of film time. The script is a scene within a full length screenplay that I have written.
This project would be strictly for the purpose of adding material to both of our portfolios, but the possibility of future collaborations on the full length script is also an option.
Only a few actors are needed for this project. Some minimal makeup effects are required for two of the characters but, overall, the shoot will occur in a house and in a convenience store (or similar).
I am looking for someone who is passionate about horror cinematography and who has new and creative ideas that they can bring to this exciting project. This would be an opportunity for you to propel yourself further in the industry.
I am willing to provide ideas and clarity in regards to the script – the rest is up to your knack in film-making to make this a creepy and effective horror movie.
Please contact me if you are interested in hearing more details.
Thanks,
C.J.

Hello,I am a Filmmaker based in the UK and I will be coming over to Canada either during December 2013 or January 2014 (depending on availability) to make a documentary for my University Masters of Arts degree. I am currently looking for crew based in Canada to help me with my project, as it costs quite a lot to travel there from the UK and so I only have limited crew within the UK itself.
The documentary follows Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer patient Maureen, who has overcome her condition in the most fantastic way. She is not bitter and has even written a book about her journey through MS. She has been given a 0% survival rate – she is essentially on a ticking clock and could pass away at any moment which is terribly sad. She has astounded doctors as she keeps bouncing back – she is a true survivor! I am looking for a variety of crew members, including a Camera Operator, Sound Recordist, Assistant Producer 1st AD and many more.
I currently have a couple of my films circulating around UK film festivals and I feel that we could take this film to other Film Festivals in the world too.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please do get in touch with me- georgia_ball@hotmail.com.
Many Thanks!

Thank you,
Georgia Ball
